Two pdf documents ‎(in the media section)‎ from Richard Hardewyn line on ancestry: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/72174815/person/40255333194?pgnum=1

Note
1910 Census: it looks like his last name is spelled Harden

Note
Some online trees give him the middle initial J.
Contemporary news report calls him T.J. Hardin and Thomas Hardin

Note
There's an awful lot of mayhem attributed to Thomas Hardin. Could there have been more than one person with that name going between the pacific northwest and KY-WV?
1895 Tom and Comfort Hardin killed Levi Blankenship. Levi was a brother of Peggy B who was married to Tom. Tom and Comfort changed their name to Alec and ____ White, and fled to Oregon.
1901 Tom robbed and shot a guy named Bateman in WV. Tom was convicted and sentenced to ten years.
Nespaper clipping from Bluefield ‎(WV)‎ Daily Telegraph dated 5 MAR 1901
1905ish Tom assaults and marries 12 year old Rosie Smith
1911 Tom ‎(no mention of a pseudonym in newpaper reports)‎ stabs a guy named Hoffman in Oregon City. Tom is found guilty but gets a suspended sentence because of his family.
1914 Tom kills Wlliam Hagerman, Artha Mae Justice, Rosie, and himself in Chehalis WA.

Note
I've been trying to find traces of the previous wives referenced in the news stories about the murder suicide. Not much luck. Arrabelle Earle, Louise _____, Belle Hutton, and Minnie B. Rogers all married people named Thomas Hardin of approximately the right age in West Virginia or Kentucky in the correct time period. But there's no reason to connect any of them to this particular Thomas Hardin. It seems likely that bad boy Tom didn't document his conquests.
